      Nami Island is a half-moon-shaped isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty - King Sejo, who reigned from 1455 to 1468. Nami Island also declared its cultural independence and was reborn as the Naminara Republic. It has its own national flag, anthem, currency, passport, phone cards, stamps, orthography, and even a certification of citizenship.

      The Garden of Morning Calm is a 300,000-meter garden that attracts an array of frequent families, friends, couples and photographers who come to explore the beautifully sculpted garden flowers, trees and pathways of this stunning garden paradise.

      If you choose the rail bike option, you will see an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track. With this option, visit the rail bike station in the morning before you visit Nami Island and The Garden of Morning Calm.
