What you can expect

  • This is a registered tour guide and Chauffeur-Driven Private Tour. Begin your day wherever you wish to be picked up in Seoul or Suwon. Travel to Suwon Fortress area, where your first stop is the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore this well-preserved fortress, known for its historical significance and architectural beauty.

    The first tour option:

Next, head to Tongdak Alley, also known as “whole chicken” street. Taste the famous and delicious Korean chicken, especially the special Suwon whole chicken, and explore the vibrant alley.

Continue to the palace of the 500-year Chosun Dynasty, Haenggung, and visit the Suwon Traditional Culture Centre or Suwon Fortress Museum. Experience Korean traditional cultures, including food and industry, and learn about royal dinners for special occasions, including various vegetables, rice cakes, and kimchis.

Finally, get to the Starfield Library, a must-visit photo spot. Take stunning photos in this place where magnificent books unfold in a beautiful landscape.

After a day of cultural exploration and culinary delights, return to Seoul, where you’ll be dropped off at your original pickup location.

    The Second tour option:

Next, get to the Starfield Library, a must-visit photo spot. Take stunning photos in this place where magnificent books unfold in a beautiful landscape.

Then, we'll travel to the Korean Folk Village in nearby Yongin — Korea's largest living open-air museum. Here, you will explore traditional thatched and tiled roof houses, showing how people of different social classes and regions lived during the Chosun era. As we stroll through the recreated marketplace and old government office area, you'll get a real sense of daily life from centuries ago.

Throughout our visit, we'll take time to enjoy traditional performances such as nongak (farmers' music and dance), jultagi (tightrope walking), and a reenacted traditional wedding ceremony, depending on the day's schedule.

After a day of cultural exploration and culinary delights, return to Seoul, where you’ll be dropped off at your original pickup location.
