After lunch, we enter the heart of the Arrábida Natural Park, driving along scenic roads that reveal the perfect contrast between the lush green mountains and the turquoise waters of the coastline. We also pass through the stunning Portinho da Arrábida, one of Portugal’s most iconic seaside landscapes.
Before heading to Azeitão, enjoy a delightful tasting of a local regional sweet, celebrating the area’s traditional flavours. The afternoon continues with a guided visit to the José Maria da Fonseca wine cellars, one of the oldest and most prestigious wine producers in Portugal, where you’ll learn about its history and enjoy a tasting of selected wines.
We end the day at the majestic Palmela Castle, a medieval fortress offering spectacular views over the Arrábida mountains, the Sado estuary and the plains of the Setúbal Peninsula — the perfect setting to conclude a day filled with natural beauty and discovery
