i. Longji rice terraces & long-hair village
Discover Yao/Zhuang heritage. Visit Huangluo Village, home of the Red Yao, famous for long-hair traditions and red costumes. Explore 600-year-old Ping'an Zhuang village, where hand-carved fields form cascading layers resembling giant dragon scales.
• 08:00 - 08:30: Hotel pickup (Guilin city centre)
• 08:30 - 10:30: Drive from Guilin to Longji Terraces
• 10:30 - 16:00: Explore Long-hair Village and Ping'an Village (Lunch at own expense)
• 16:00 - 18:00: Return drive to Guilin

ii. Li river cruise & yangshuo countryside
Sail past karst peaks on a 4-hour cruise featuring Nine Horse Fresco Hill and the 20-RMB note landscape. In Yangshuo, experience the lively atmosphere of West Street, followed by a scenic stroll through rural villages and paddies along the Yulong River.
• 07:10 - 07:50: Hotel pickup (Guilin city centre)
• 07:50 - 09:00: Drive from Guilin to the cruise pier
• 09:20 - 14:00: 4-hour Li River Cruise with lunch (Note: Guide does not board; meets you upon arrival in Yangshuo)
• 14:30 - 15:30: Discover the shops and cafes of West Street
• 15:30 - 17:00: Explore Yangshuo countryside by the Yulong River
• 17:00 - 18:30: Return transfer to Guilin
