On our route, we’ll pass by Balayong Park, home to Palawan Cherry Blossom trees, or “Balayong.” This park recently hosted an international sports event, showcasing the city’s growth & natural beauty. If in season, the cherry blossoms add a lovely touch of pink to your journey. At Binuatan Weaving Creations, you’ll see Filipino artisans crafting beautiful items from indigenous fibres, including bags & decor. This is a great place to purchase a handmade souvenir as a reminder of Palawan’s artisanal heritage. Next, we'll head to Mitra Ranch, located atop a hill that offers sweeping views of Puerto Princesa & Honda Bay on clear days, the ranch is a serene stop to relax and take in the landscape. At Baker’s Hill, enjoy some of Puerto Princesa’s famous pastries like hopia & crinkles. This whimsical bakery & garden have colourful statues & fun photo spots, ideal for enjoying local treats. Nature lovers will appreciate Crocodile Farm & Nature Park (Palawan Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Centre). Here, you can see Philippine crocodiles up close & learn about conservation efforts.
