Please arrive 10 minutes before your chosen time at the meeting point, which is about 15 minutes from the centre of Siena. We will be greeted by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this horseback adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered, there will be an introduction on the ground followed by mounting and an explanation of the basics of horseback riding. We will then have a chance to become familiar with our horses before heading out on the ride.
When all the riders are ready, we will leave the riding centre to venture into the Montagnola Senese Park along the Via Francigena.
The route will take us through breathtaking landscapes, with trails winding through lush forests, green hills and golden fields. It will be an opportunity to fully immerse yourself in nature, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life and embracing the peace and tranquility that only the countryside can offer.
We will pass in the shadow of the Hermitage of San Leonardo al Lago, a place steeped in holiness and spirituality. This ancient hermitage, immersed in the tranquility of nature, offers an atmosphere of peace and serenity.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last about 70 minutes; the total experience will last 1.5 hours.
Our horseback rides are suitable for riders of all levels, from beginners to experts. Our horses are experienced and will take you on a tour of the Sienese countryside in total relaxation; we have more than 10 horses to allow even large groups to enjoy the experience together.
