The Veleta Peak belongs to the Sierra Nevada in the Penibetica mountain range. It is located in Granada, Andalusia and with 3,398 metres, it is the fourth highest summit in Spain.

From the roof of the mountain, you will see the amazing Mulhacen (3,482 metres) and the incredible Alcazaba (3,371 metres). These are the second and the sixth highest summits in the country respectively. Also, if weather allows we can admire the African Continent behind the Mediterranean Sea. A really stunning landscape!

Bring mountain clothing and shoes, a windbreaker jacket, food and water, walking poles, and ice axe and crampons in winter season.
