Guests can choose between two experience options:

For the sunrise option, hotel pickup is scheduled between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM. You’ll travel early in the morning to Pidurangala Rock and enjoy a guided hike to the summit, where you can watch the sunrise and take in panoramic views of the surrounding jungle and the iconic Sigiriya Rock.

For the sunset option, hotel pickup takes place between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. The experience begins with travel towards the national park area, followed by the safari and a later hike to Pidurangala Rock to enjoy a peaceful sunset over the landscape.

The tour continues with a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most important wildlife reserves and best known for its population of wild elephants. The safari is conducted in a licensed 4x4 jeep with an experienced driver who follows all national park rules. Animals are observed only in their natural habitat, without feeding, touching, or disturbing them.

This experience is designed with a strong focus on ethical wildlife viewing and responsible tourism. Drivers maintain safe viewing distances, respect animal behaviour, and avoid any actions that could cause stress to wildlife. There are no captive animals or animal performances involved, ensuring full compliance with ’s Animal Welfare Policy.
