Sloth’s Territory is a private reserve located in El Tanque, less than 10 minutes away from La Fortuna city centre (Arenal Volcano). The place, managed by the Rodriguez Perez Family, it’s a truly gem with vibrant flora & fauna. The observation hike, a truly enigmatic experience is developed through a safe path. this trail runs the reserve along La Havana River, and offers the opportunity to observe many kind of animals in it’s natural habitat. Two & three-toed sloths, opossums, red frogs, porcupines, different kind of birds such as; Toucans, Tanagers, Royal Flycatchers, Hummingbirds, Parrots, Honeycreepers, Cinnamon Woodpeckers, enrich the activity. Our expert guide will carefully show you, all our different attractions and will give you through a unique lifetime experience. The tour includes a trained guide during the whole hike with professional telescope and it finish with a break to enjoy our more selected seasonal fruits (most of them from our organic field).
