What you can expect

Escape the city and discover one of Oman’s most stunning natural treasures — the Dimaniyat Islands Marine Reserve. Depart from Al Mouj Marina at 9:00 AM on a comfortable speed-boat and enjoy a scenic 45-minute cruise across turquoise waters to this protected paradise.

Your professional captain and crew will guide you throughout the journey, sharing insights about the islands’ rich marine life and coral ecosystems. Once you arrive, dive into crystal-clear waters for the first snorkelling session. Float above colourful coral gardens and watch for sea turtles, reef fish, and vibrant marine species that thrive in the reserve’s calm lagoons.

After your first swim, relax on board with light snacks and cold drinks while taking in panoramic views of the islands. Then continue to a second snorkelling site chosen by your captain based on the day’s best conditions. Enjoy another chance to explore Oman’s underwater world, surrounded by schools of fish and unspoiled coral formations.

From November to April, you’ll also have the opportunity to step ashore one of the Dimaniyat Islands for photos, a short walk, or a peaceful moment on the pristine white sand. From May to October, beach landings are not allowed to protect turtle nesting areas — during this season, you’ll enjoy extended snorkelling time at two reef locations.

With small groups of up to 23 guests per boat, this tour ensures a comfortable and personalised experience. All snorkelling equipment, life jackets, and entry permits are provided, so you can simply relax and enjoy the day. The professional crew is always nearby to assist beginners and ensure everyone feels safe in the water.

As the trip winds down, enjoy the return journey back to Al Mouj Marina, arriving around 1:30 PM. Capture your last glimpses of the turquoise sea and the island silhouettes before docking back at the marina — refreshed, inspired, and full of memories from your snorkelling adventure.

Whether you’re a first-time snorkeller or an experienced ocean lover, this half-day adventure offers an unforgettable look into Oman’s spectacular marine life and the natural beauty of the Dimaniyat Islands.
