Upon your arrival on the picturesque banks of the Main River in Sommerhausen, you will receive a warm welcome from your guides and a brief introduction to the event's schedule, materials, and safety. Then it's time to get down to business: You and your team will head to the starting point, brainstorm ideas, and develop your own raft concept. In addition to the hands-on construction, you will also shape your creative identity – you will design your own cooperative logo, paint a team banner, and give your raft a unique look. Using wood, barrels, and ropes, you will build your floating craft step by step, tying knots, planning, testing, and growing together as a group in the process.

Once all the rafts are ready, you will equip yourselves with life jackets and paddles—safety comes first, and a lifeguard will accompany you in the water. After the group test runs, it's time for the thrilling race: You'll paddle against the clock, cheer each other on, and experience true team spirit on the water. During or after the race, you can enjoy the picnic you brought, relax, and take in the natural surroundings. At the end, you will look back proudly on what you created together and take home plenty of memories, photos, and a strong sense of community.
