We will explore the trades related to spices and essences: from those that have disappeared, such as the aromatario, with his secret recipes and curious remedies, to the “nose”, the contemporary master perfumer who creates fragrances capable of evoking memories and stories. We will learn to recognise the top, heart, and base notes by smelling precious ingredients such as cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, incense, turmeric, liquorice, and much more.
