You will arrive at our farm and first be greeted in a relaxed atmosphere. To start, you will receive an overview of the Lamahof and the special features of our animal husbandry in the mountains of Obwalden. You will then get to know our llama herd and learn how the animals live, communicate, and function as a group. You will get up close and personal with the animals, be able to touch them, and directly experience the respectful, animal-friendly way of interacting with them in everyday farm life.

As the tour continues, you will also meet the other farm animals and receive information about how they are kept, their needs, and their role in farm life. There is plenty of time for questions and for consciously observing the animals and the surroundings. The farm tour is a relaxed experience, without any rush or performance demands, and is based on the pace of the group and the animals.

At the end, the visit concludes with a soft drink in a quiet atmosphere. You will have time to reflect on the farm and your experience. Our farm products can be viewed. Some of them are created in collaboration with young people as part of the daily structure and can be purchased directly on site if you are interested. This is the perfect thing to do for anyone who wants to experience animals mindfully and get an authentic insight into farm life.
