Your journey begins at 9:30 in the morning when we pick you up from your location in Astana. We’ll welcome you with a traditional Kazakh breakfast featuring fresh farm eggs, homemade bread, butter, berry jams, and tea brewed over fire. Breakfast is shared together at the ranch table, just like in true Kazakh village tradition.
After breakfast, your hands on adventure begins as we invite you to join the morning ranch routine. You’ll help assist with feeding, and learn how we care for our horses every day. Our instructors will teach you the basics of horsemanship, saddle preparation, and safe riding techniques before we begin our first horseback ride.
The first ride takes you across wide, gentle grasslands. You will be introduced to our calm, well-trained horses and guided step by step, making this tour suitable even for beginners. As we ride together through the open steppe, you’ll feel the rhythm of the land: the wind, the silence, the endless horizon. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Kazakhstan’s nomadic roots and why horses are considered sacred animals here.
After the morning ride, we return to the ranch for a traditional homemade lunch prepared by our local chef. You might enjoy beshbarmak, plov, or lagman, accompanied by fresh salads, tea, and local dairy treats. The pace of village life invites you to relax after the meal, stretch your legs, or spend time bonding with the horses.
In the afternoon, embark on a scenic horse tour to the historic Kabanbai Batyr Mausoleum (one of the most beloved figures in Kazakh history). Breathe in the fresh air, take in the stunning steppe landscapes, and immerse yourself in a deep connection with nature and Kazakh heritage. This authentic activity gives you a rare opportunity to feel the essence of modern life working in harmony with nature and animals.
As the sun begins to set, we return to the ranch where you can relax and recharge in a private sauna. Then a Kazakh feast awaits comforting dishes, fresh bread, delicious desserts, and tea. You’ll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of ranch life at dusk, listening to the horses settle in for the night, watching the sky change colours over the steppe. After dinner, we’ll drive you back to Astana, tired in the best possible way, with fresh air in your lungs and unforgettable memories in your heart!
