What you can expect

Trade the city streets for untouched wilderness just outside Stockholm. Step into Bogesund’s hidden “troll forests,” where towering pines, moss-covered ground, and quiet coastal views create a landscape few visitors ever experience.

Your guide leads you along scenic trails once used by Vikings, sharing stories, nature insights, and simple outdoor skills along the way.

At the heart of the experience is the fire. Together, you’ll cook Swedish meatballs over open flames, a hands-on, rustic lunch that tastes better simply because you made it outdoors. As the fire crackles, you’ll also experience the Swedish tradition of fika with fresh coffee or tea.

Visiting between mid-May and September?

You’ll take it a step further by baking your own cinnamon rolls over the fire. The smell of warm cinnamon and cardamom in the forest is unforgettable — and so is eating them fresh, right in nature.

Visiting between October and mid-May?

After lunch, you’ll gear up for a truly unique Nordic experience: cold-water floating. Wearing a thermal survival suit, you’ll float effortlessly in the calm Baltic Sea, warm, safe, and surprisingly relaxing. Floating here feels more like flying than swimming, and the sensation is almost impossible to describe until you’ve tried it yourself. Ever wondered what it feels like to drift weightlessly without ever getting cold? That’s the memory you’ll carry home, along with rosy cheeks, a clear mind, and the satisfied glow of having done something truly different in Stockholm.

This small-group experience blends nature, food, and adventure into one memorable day; no matter the season.
