Day 1 – Arrival, Relaxation & Dinner
Be warmly welcomed at bus or taxi station with a private meet-and-greet then transfer to your best hotel in town. Guests may relax and enjoy swimming in the hotel swimming pool. Picking you up from your hotel at 6:30 PM and taking you to a welcoming delicious dinner at a floating restaurant on the Sekong River.
Day 2 – Waterfall and Mekong River Boat Tours
Pickup from your hotel at 7:00 AM and then driving for the best breakfast and coffee in town before the main activity.
Travel comfortably by private SUV to the impressive Mekong waterfalls before continuing by boat through a maze of dozens of islands and lush riverbanks. Along the way, explore the area on foot with short hikes near the waterfalls and on selected islands.
Enjoy a comfortable 65-kilometer journey of around 90 minutes in a private Lexus SUV or minivan before reaching the scenic Preah Nimith Waterfall. Spend about one hour exploring the waterfall area before continuing the experience on the Mekong River boat cruises.
The first day tour includes two boat trips — one before lunch (and afternoon coffee or drinks at a little beautiful restaurant on the Mekong River bank in Laos) and one after — offering the chance to observe birds, towering trees with exposed roots, flooded forests, and the remarkable river landscape. Several stops allow for short treks and visits to selected islands along the great Mekong River.
The private tour is led by a knowledgeable, English-speaking local guide. Hotel or guesthouse pickup is provided at 7:00 am, with drop-off back at your accommodation between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
Day 3 – Kayaking Adventure & Cycling
Pickup from your hotel at 7:00 AM and then driving for the best breakfast and coffee in town before the main activity.
A pleasant 45-minute Lexus SUV car ride from hotel or guesthouse to the Mekong River boat dock, take a machine boat ride to one of the most beautiful islands in Stung Treng Mekong River, the Han Island, and spend a lovely morning kayaking along the 7-kilometer Han Island. Then take a lunch break at noon. Return to town with the private SUV for an afternoon cycling to see village life, or optionally guests can spend their own free afternoon of relaxation and shopping in Stung Treng Market at their own pace.
Day 4 – Departure
Enjoy a seamless pickup at hotel and drop off at taxi station for your onward journey.
