Overview

Step aboard Kalbarri’s only river cruise on the serene Murchison River. After a safety briefing, we’ll journey 6km upstream (12km return) to the furthest navigable point, offering captivating commentary on the region’s history, fishing industry, and unique wildlife.

Relax and take in the scenery as the landscape unfolds into open spaces and low shrubbery, home to ospreys, kites, pelicans, egrets, black swans, and the majestic white-breasted sea eagles. You might also spot kangaroos, emus, and goats along the riverbanks.

The cruise features stunning coloured rock formations and a narrow channel near Goat Island. At our turnaround point, Rocky Crossing, you can stretch your legs before heading back to enjoy more sights, photos, and relaxation.
