Overview

In this experience you will surf on the beach with the best conditions of the day for your surfing level, a great opportunity to get to know the beautiful Arpoador beach in Ipanema.

We will start with the theoretical and practical part performed on the sand, observing the entry and exit of the sea (place), how to position yourself on the board, paddling, drop
and safety rules of the sport, then we will go to the sea, putting into practice the concepts explained in the sand.

Arpoador beach is known for its consistent waves and is one of the best places to surf in Rio de Janeiro. Also, the sunset view is simply amazing, making the experience even more special.

Activity itinerary

The place for surfing will be at Arpoador (Posto 7) in Ipanema, all necessary equipment will be available. On the sand, you will have training on the sea, waves and the use of the board. In the water, the concepts of surfing, paddling, current, entering the sea and reading the wave will be presented. It is important to inform at least 24 hours in advance, due to sea conditions.
