Escape to the cool, green mountains of Yuyao on this private day trip from Suzhou, centred on the spectacular Baishuichong waterfall and the historic Yang'e ridge trail. The day combines waterfall scenery and a ridge trail; expect some uneven or uphill walking.

After a comfortable pickup from your Suzhou hotel, your English-speaking guide and private driver bring you to Baishui Mountain. Walk towards Baishuichong waterfall on an open trail section; the view and flow depend on weather, water levels and access. Your guide shares the area's charming tea legend, the storey of 'waterfall immortal tea' said to have been gifted to a young tea-picker by a mountain sage.

Lunch is included during the day. A viewpoint towards Siming Lake may be possible if access and visibility allow. The afternoon follows a scenic stretch of the Yang'e ancient trail along the ridgeline, with tea plantations and peach orchards; blossoms depend on the season. Trail surfaces can be uneven, so wear shoes with grip and allow time for the climb.

This is authentic rural Zhejiang, rich in scenery and local culture. In the evening your private car returns you comfortably to your Suzhou hotel.
