What you can expect

In addition to the seaside resort of Wyk with its beautiful beach promenade and shopping arcade, there are 11 villages with historic thatched houses. In Wyk, many attractions attract guests at any time of the year: 100-year-old spa park, spa promenade with a unique view of the Halligen, 15 kilometres of fine sandy beach right by the harbour, historic town centre with small, dreamy streets and quaint pubs, fish market (Sundays), boutiques and shops.

A special highlight in Wyk is the weekly fish market (Sundays April - mid-October)

In the Frisian Museum you can embark on a journey of discovery into bygone times.
The Museum Kunst der Westküste in Alkersum exhibits over 500 paintings and graphic works about life on the North Sea coast.
