What you can expect

  • Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Takamatsu. Board a comfortable vehicle and head to your first stop, the Iya Valley Vine Bridge. Spend an hour exploring this iconic suspension bridge, which is made of vines and offers stunning views of the surrounding valley.

    Next, continue to Oboke and Koboke, two scenic gorges known for their dramatic rock formations and crystal-clear waters. Spend 90 minutes here, taking in the breathtaking scenery and perhaps enjoying a leisurely walk along the river.

    Finally, head to Naruto to witness the famous Naruto Whirlpools. Spend 90 minutes marvelling at these natural phenomena, which occur when the tide changes and the water rushes through the narrow strait between Naruto and Awaji Island.
