Meet your guide and hop on a “Mama-chari” bike, a familiar bike for people living in Japan. The bikes are designed for daily use, with a stable frame, baskets, and maneuverability for town use.

Begin your ride through the historical area and the nature area. Pass through a quiet local street and head to the historical street named Yamacho-suji street with old architecture and fire-resistant buildings.

Continue to another historical area named Kanaya-machi district with old architecture. After exploring these areas, cycle along the riverside, and head to Mt. Futagami.

After passing through the mountain, head to Takakoka Old Castle Park. At the park, almost 100% of the structure still remains, such as moats and rivers. Finally, visit Takaoka Great Buddha, one of the three greatest Buddhas in Japan.
