The tour includes the transport of pets, a description of the places of interest, translation into your language, and any stops both to take photographs and to visit churches and monuments, such as a stop to visit the cathedral or to take a nice photo in front of the Doric Temple. The visit to the Aragonese Castle can be made at the end of the tour, as it takes several minutes to properly appreciate it.
If customers would like to visit the MarTa museum, we can accompany them at the end of the tour, but they must purchase a ticket to enter, which is not included. Likewise, the tour duration cannot exceed one hour; in case of overrun, a surcharge will be required.

We operate daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in Piazza Castello, near the swing bridge, to take you on a guided tour that will let you discover the heart of Taranto. We will start with a short excursion in the Borgo Umbertino, the modern part of the city, and then venture into the characteristic alleyways of the old town.

During the route, we will cross the promenades, visit the Monument to the Sailors of Italy, the Government Building, the promenade rotunda, the Central Post Office Building, and the Rosa dei Venti Fountain in Piazza Ebalia. We will walk through the central streets such as Via Berardi, Via Principe Amedeo, Via De Cesare, and Corso Umberto, until we reach the famous MarTa Archaeological Museum.

Crossing the swing bridge, we will immerse ourselves in the old town, discovering the Mar Piccolo, Via Garibaldi with the fishing boat harbour, Piazza Fontana, the Clock Tower, the Church of San Domenico, Vico Mercanti (the narrowest alley in the city), the Cathedral of San Cataldo (the oldest in Puglia), Via Duomo, the Doric Temple, and finally the Aragonese Castle.
