      What you can expect

See the grand pyramids of Teotihuacan with an early-morning visit that shows you the famed “City of the Gods” ahead of the tourist crowds. This tour offers an easy ride from Mexico City and the chance to explore one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the Americas.

A drive across the countryside just after dawn brings you to Teotihuacan right as the site is opening for the day. Here, you find the place almost empty, with a timeless, mystical feeling that hangs over the monuments and ancient buildings as you walk through the grounds.

Once you're here, you have the freedom to look around at your own pace, visiting the sites you want in the order you choose. Get some amazing pictures of the temples along the Avenue of the Dead, climb the steps of the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon, and admire the well-preserved structures that were already ancient during the time of Aztec rule.

After a short stop at a local family-owned obsidian workshop, where you can taste some locally produced tequila and mezcal, we will make our way back to Mexico City.
