The pagoda consists of three parallel buildings called the Lower Pagoda, the Middle Pagoda and the Upper Pagoda. Between the Ha pagoda and the Middle pagoda, there are water-blooming pipes connected together, creating the most superior position of the lower pagoda. In particular, the pagoda’s architecture has only 36 holes carved into wooden panels stacked on top of each other extremely firmly.

Duong Lam became the first ancient village in Vietnam to be awarded the title of National Historical and Cultural Monument by the State on May 19, 2006.
Today, Duong Lam village still retains most of the basic features of a Vietnamese village with village gate, banyan tree, water wharf, communal house yard, pagoda, shrine, guard post, well, water fields, and hillocks. . Duong Lam’s road system is very special because they have a herringbone shape. With this structure, if you go from the communal house, you will never turn your back on the Holy door.
A special point is that Duong Lam still retains an ancient village gate in Mong Phu village. This is not a village gate like other village gates in the Northern region that have a guard on the roof with arched arches, but is just a two-roofed house located right on the road to the village. Also in Mong Phu village is Mong Phu communal house – built in 1684 (Vinh To era under King Le Hy Tong’s reign) – which is a typical communal house for traditional Vietnamese communal houses.
