The Hague

We will walk through beautiful The Hague, while stopping many times for a bite and/or drink. First stop is a coffee tasting in a beautiful old shop, then it's on to the Noordeinde for some Italian delicacies, ubiquitous in The Hague. We'll continue with a Haagsche Poffah, a sweet resin bread with a special liquor. Then it's on to the Royal Dungelmann Kroket, the king's favourite! From there on to Chinatown for a Saoto soup, and then we will do a jenever tasting in one of the oldest distilleries in the Netherlands. We'll finish off at the Boterwaag for a 'borrel', Dutch for a drink with friends. On the way we will see many highlights and hidden gems, like the Denneweg, the Hotel des Indes, the Lange and Korte Poten, the palace on the Noordeinde with Wilhelmina's statue, the palace gardens with their secret entrance, Chinatown, the Boekhorststraat, Haagse Harry and the Grote Market.
