The Lodrino Inferiore is one of the most spectacular and challenging canyoning tours in Ticino. This expert version is designed for highly athletic guests aged 16 and up who are looking for a technical, water-rich, and intense canyoning experience. After meeting our guides, you will be provided with the appropriate equipment and a thorough briefing before the adventure begins.
The entry point is still relatively open, but then, in the Lodrino Inferiore, the route immediately becomes more challenging. Technical jumps, high and challenging rappelling stations, narrow passages, and plenty of water give this tour its uncompromising character right from the start. There are no options to exit along the way – anyone who enters here will experience the canyon in all its intensity.
After a short breather, the gorge opens up slightly before the next chute leads you directly into the middle section. There, jump after jump, you will suddenly find yourself standing on a spectacular rock face. The gorge opens up impressively, and then comes one of the tour’s major highlights: a 150-foot (45-meter) waterfall rappel right past the water feature.
Shortly thereafter, you will find yourself at another absolutely iconic Lodrino highlight: the 32-meter-high, free-hanging waterfall. Below you, the distinctive rock bridge is already visible before the final, short and challenging narrow section begins. You'll tackle one final waterfall using the rope, and then you'll have made it – what an experience!
At purelements®, the focus is not only on action, but also on safety, quality, and a genuine experience of nature. Our experienced guides will accompany you attentively throughout the tour, without any unnecessary rush. This way, you can experience the Lodrino Inferiore safely, intensively, and with great enjoyment.
Depending on the weather, water levels, and safety conditions, the itinerary may be adjusted. Please note that this tour is only suitable for very athletic guests aged 16 and up.
