Watch a live Bugaku performance inside the iconic Kengo Kuma-designed Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Centre, directly facing Kaminarimon Gate.
Bugaku is the only performing art in Japan that fuses 600 years of samurai martial arts tradition with the 700-year-old art of Noh theatre. Founded in 2006 by Koshiro Minamoto, an actor and martial artist with 40+ years of training.
Begin with a lecture introducing Bugakuza and the philosophy of samurai arts. Then, watch a live Bugaku sword and naginata performance by the founder.
Next, try samurai postures, Noh gestures, and traditional chanting from your seat. Finally, take a commemorative photo with the founder in traditional attire.
After the show, visit the free 8th-floor observation deck for panoramic views of Tokyo Skytree.
