From a curated selection of yukata, you will be guided to choose one that best suits your style and body, and it will be beautifully fitted for you.
During the dressing, you will also learn the basics of wearing a yukata, how the obi (belt) is tied, and simple tips on elegant posture and movement. With a small-group setting, you will receive personal attention and can relax while enjoying a calm and private experience.
Once dressed, take a short walk to a nearby peaceful shrine, Kumano Shrine. Surrounded by greenery and away from the crowds, you will learn simple etiquette and customs for visiting a Japanese shrine. This serene setting also offers a perfect opportunity for beautiful photos, and your instructor will guide you with natural posing tips to help you capture memorable moments.
After the walk, continue to a charming traditional café, Kosoan, located in a 100-year-old Japanese house. Relax in a tatami room and enjoy matcha green tea with seasonal Japanese sweets. This is not a formal tea ceremony, but a chance to experience the flavours and quiet atmosphere of everyday Japanese culture.
