Begin your journey from Tokyo and head towards the majestic Mount Fuji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Japan’s most iconic natural landmark.
Your first stop is the beautiful Oishi Park beside Lake Kawaguchi, where seasonal flowers and stunning lakeside scenery create the perfect setting for unforgettable photos with Mt. Fuji in the background.
Continue to the world-famous Arakura Sengen Shrine, home to Japan’s iconic five-story Chureito Pagoda. Climb to the scenic viewpoint and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city, pagoda, and Mt. Fuji — especially magical during cherry blossom season and autumn foliage.
Next, discover the tranquil beauty of Oshino Hakkai, a charming traditional village known for its eight crystal-clear spring ponds fed by melted snow from Mt. Fuji. Stroll through the peaceful pathways, sample fresh mountain spring water, and experience the authentic atmosphere of rural Japan.
Finally, head up to Mt. Fuji 5th Station at approximately 2,300 metres above sea level (weather and road conditions permitting). Enjoy the closest views of the mountain’s summit, browse local souvenir shops, and taste regional specialities surrounded by dramatic alpine scenery.
During winter the itinerary may visit Mt. Fuji 4th Station, 1st Station, or Yamanakako Hananomiyako Park to experience the stunning “Diamond Fuji” sunset views instead.
