Activity itinerary

Ameyoko Shopping Street
  • 30m
Ameyoko (アメ横) is a busy market street along the Yamanote Line tracks between Okachimachi and Ueno Stations. The name "Ameyoko" is a short form for "Ameya Yokocho" (sweet shop alley), as sweets were traditionally sold there. Alternatively, "Ame" also stands for "America", because a lot of American products used to be available there when the street was the site of a black market in the years following World War Two.
Kappabashi Street (Kappabashi Dogugai)
  • 30m
Kappabashi Street (かっぱ橋道具街, Kappabashi Dōgugai) is a shopping street between Ueno and Asakusa, which is lined with several dozens of stores selling everything needed by restaurant operators, with the exception of fresh food.
Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street
  • 30m
One of best shopping streets in Tokyo, with the well-remained old town “Shitamachi” atmosphere. Explore the nostalgic side of Tokyo through Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street!
Tsukiji Fish Market
  • 30m
This tour will allow you to explore Tokyo more efficiently in one day. Meet at your hotel, then move to anywhere you want.
Shibuya Cat Street
  • 30m
Cat Street is the nickname for a mostly pedestrianised alley in Tokyo that runs between Harajuku and Shibuya. Cat Street is a haven of hip culture dedicated to youth fashion. The formal name for the street is Kyu-Shibuya-gawa Yuhodoro (or "Old Shibuya River Pedestrian Lane"), often shortened to "Yuhodo." From Harajuku, its highest elevation, it goes down to and across Omotesando Boulevard (landmarks: Ralph Lauren store and Gyre shopping centre), and continues as a pedestrianised street down to Miyashita-koen crossroads in Shibuya.
Takeshita Street
  • 30m
Japan's wackiest youth cultures come alive at Harajuku's Takeshita-dori Street Calbee chips, sweets floss and crepes await you at Harajuku's Takeshita-dori Street, a pedestrian shopping jungle that is quite the sensory overload with food and fashion options popular among Tokyo's trend-setting youth.
Shibamata
  • 30m
Shibamata (柴又) is a area on the eastern end of Tokyo, not far from the Edogawa River which is the natural border between Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture. The town retains its old-school charm from yesteryear and is a perfect break away from modern Tokyo. One of the main attractions to see is the Shibamata Taishakuten Temple not far from the station.
Akihabara
  • 30m
Akihabara (秋葉原), also called Akiba after a former local shrine, is a district in central Tokyo that is famous for its many electronics shops. In more recent years, Akihabara has gained recognition as the centre of Japan's otaku (diehard fan) culture, and many shops and establishments devoted to anime and manga are now dispersed among the electronic stores in the district. On Sundays, Chuo Dori, the high street through the district, is closed to car traffic from 13:00 to 18:00 (until 17:00 from October through March).
