Fukagawa Fudodo

A thoughtful contrast of old and new, this temple is famous for its Goma fire rituals and impressive wooden statues, plus quaint fox inari shrines on the approach

Tatsumi Shindo

A lively alley with around 30 tiny bars preserving the Showa era atmosphere. Great for late-night bar hopping, karaoke, yakitori, motsu-nikomi, and soaking in local mood
