Velvety hills stretch for miles, framing Fattoria Casalbosco in the Santomato area. The estate’s 150 hectares are sun-kissed and overlook the valleys between Prato and Pistoia, while in the background, the first peaks of the Pistoia Apennines rise silently. From a distance, the farm’s lands look like a tapestry with a multicoloured pattern: dots of red, purple, and gold, and glimmers of light. Their south-southeast-facing orientation ensures the grapes ripen perfectly, which, combined with the unique, mineral-rich soil, guarantees the high quality of the winemaking process that produces excellent wines.

Rooted in the Becagli family’s passion, the excellence and refined taste of Fattoria Casalbosco’s wines are produced in accordance with the great Tuscan winemaking tradition, using exceptionally high-quality grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano. Only the finest grapes are selected, and the winemaking process is overseen by an outstanding enologist. The Becagli family has a long-standing connection with the Chianti region, where Fattoria Casalbosco is located. In addition to their love for this land and for the art of winemaking, they bring a wealth of experience as dynamic entrepreneurs in the textile and composite materials sectors, enabling them to make significant strides towards a new era of success for the family business.

Our mission?
A new image for each bottle captures the exquisite contents within. Simple, regular yet elegant lines run across the labels, evoking the geometry of the Romanesque decorations found on Pistoia Cathedral and the countless churches scattered across Tuscany's rolling hills. Chianti DOCG, Chianti Riserva DOCG, Carminio, and Dorato, together with the superb Fuor Civitas, a wine dedicated to the City of Pistoia, make up the full spectrum of Fattoria Casalbosco’s winemaking tradition, which was recently enriched by Terrecotte, a single-varietal wine vinified and aged in terracotta amphorae. The flagship of the Orchidea winery, this captivating ruby-red wine is housed in an elegant, screen-printed bottle and is dedicated to the memory of Raffaella Becagli.

On this tour, you will be welcomed to the winery for a tour of the estate, followed by a tasting and explanation of 3 wines and vin santo, served with bread, our own olive oil, and cantucci biscuits (for children, a snack and fruit juice).
