Canoa Quebrada is the best destination for those who travel to Fortaleza looking for places of high spirits and great tourist appeal. The beach is in the district of Aracati, 163 kilometres from the capital of Ceará, on the East Coast. The journey takes about two and a half hours. The place is known nationally and worldwide for having been a paradise for hippies and naturalists in the 70's. It is undoubtedly one of the most interesting places on the coast of Ceará.
The natural beauty call as much attention as the local legends and stories, as well as infectious energy that pleases any tourist. The natural setting consists of hills, fixed and mobile dunes, coral formations, an environmental preservation area, and a fishing village. The tourist infrastructure is complete: local residents and shopkeepers are receptive and the beach has a variety of restaurants, showers, and bathrooms available. The fun is guaranteed.
Some suggested complementary excursions, not included in the value, are the buggy tour along the coast, which is one of the most beautiful in the state; the rafting that allows a view of the village from the sea; and the paragliding, which literally gives the feeling of being in the heavens. Those who prefer calmer can choose to walk along the beach or bathe in the warm and inviting waters. We will be at the beach around 5 hours before returning to the hotel.
