What you can expect

Do you want to learn the secrets of Mexican cuisine but are short on time? This experience is perfect for you! We offer you a light, dynamic, and delicious version of our classic cooking lesson, focused on the essentials: the market, the ingredients, and the seasoning.

Our adventure begins at a vibrant local market. Along with our tour guide, you will walk through the colourful aisles to immerse yourself in Mexico's culinary culture. You'll learn to identify the key ingredients, from the variety of chilli peppers to the aromatic herbs, and we'll select the freshest ingredients for our cooking session.

Afterwards, we'll move to the kitchen, where you'll put on your apron. Unlike other longer workshops, here we'll get straight to the point. You can choose and prepare one of the following iconic dishes, each made from scratch with its respective traditional accompaniments (sauces, side dishes, and finishing touches):

Meat in its jus: A comforting and tasty Tapatío classic with bacon and beans.

Chile relleno: The perfect balance of tradition, breading, and a spectacular sauce.

Tacos Gobernador: Delicious shrimp tacos with melted cheese and a smoky touch.

Fajitas: A juicy option, full of colour and seasoning.

Chilaquiles: The king of Mexican cuisine, crispy and dipped in the sauce of your choice.

Gorditas: Filled with flavour and with that perfect handmade corn texture.

Huitlacoche quesadillas: An ancient gem with the “black gold” of Mexican gastronomy.

Do you have dietary restrictions? No problem! We have delicious vegan options adapted so that no one is left out of cooking or enjoying the authentic Mexican flavour.

Important note: To keep this experience light, flexible, and accessible, this workshop does not include breakfast beforehand, tequila tasting, or dessert. We are 100% focused on you mastering the main dish you have chosen.

At the end, we'll sit down to enjoy the masterpiece you prepared yourself. You'll take home the knowledge and recipes to replicate these flavours anywhere in the world. Bon appetit!
