This pottery workshop experience is designed for travellers who want to participate, create, and connect with local craftsmanship, rather than follow a standard sightseeing itinerary.
After pickup from Kusadasi Port, you will be taken to a traditional pottery workshop, where local artisans continue techniques passed down through generations. You will learn about clay preparation, shaping methods, and traditional firing processes used in Turkish pottery.
Guests are invited to:
Try the pottery wheel themselves
Shape and decorate their own ceramic piece
Learn the symbolism and everyday use of pottery in Anatolian culture
No previous experience is required. The workshop is relaxed, interactive, and suitable for beginners.
At the end of the session, guests may browse finished ceramic works in the workshop.
Purchasing is completely optional and there is no pressure to buy.
This experience does not include visits to Ephesus or historical sites. It is intentionally designed as a craft-focused cultural workshop.
