At 8:00 am, we will pick you up and transfer you to the Yura district. Our destination will be reached after a 45-minute drive.
Upon reaching the outskirts of Yura, we will follow a path leading us near the Capua Waterfall. The vehicle will drop us off at a car park, from where we will begin a 40-minute walk to the waterfall. Portions of the path are waterlogged, so we will need to remove our shoes to keep them dry; wearing water shoes is recommended. It is also essential to bring mosquito repellent due to the abundance of insects in the area. The journey to the waterfall passes through a small canyon created by the flowing water from the waterfall. Along the way, we will see two smaller waterfalls before arriving at the main attraction, the Capua Waterfall, the largest in the area. We will have 30 minutes at the waterfall to rest and take photos with the beautiful cascade as a backdrop.
Afterwards, we will walk back for 40 minutes to the car park where our vehicle will be waiting.
Once back at the car park, we can change clothes and optionally visit the town of Yura and its surroundings, including a relaxing bath in the local hot springs.
At 12:00 pm, we will begin our return journey to the centre of Arequipa.
By 1:00 pm, we will arrive in central Arequipa and drop you off at your hotel.
