What you can expect

  • After morning pickup from your hotel in Kendwa or Nungwi, travel by RIB boat to Tumbatu Island, one of Zanzibar's beautiful destinations. This small island lies off the coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania, in the Indian Ocean. It is known for pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich cultural heritage. The waters around the island offer excellent snorkelling, and Shetani, a famous diving site, is also located there.

Tumbatu Island is primarily inhabited by the Bantu-speaking Tumbatu people. You will also have time to relax on the Tumbatu sandbank and snorkel in waters teeming with marine life. Look for colourful coral reefs, tropical fish, and possibly even sea turtles.
