Overview

This is a private tour. No stangers or others are in your booking. Your guide is a local born & bred West Australian with considerable experience in the locations we visit.

The focus of this tour is the point where the Indian and the Southern Oceans meet.
The guided tour of the Leeuwin Lighthouse itself is optional. A heritage pass to the grounds of the lighthouse and viewing where the oceans meet applies at minimal cost.

Other locations can be added with some consultation on request.

Specially selected small towns add interest to this big day in the Margaret River region.

If children are included we can include some of the most beautiful beaches in the world along the coast.

A brief stop at the Margaret River and Busselton Township is included in this tour.
Cave tours are not options in this tour as they are lengthy and impact on other destinations.

Activity itinerary

The Crooked Carrot
  • 25m
The Crooked Carrot is the first short stretch stop of the tour as we head south from Perth. This small cafe has grown into a must see stop if kids are involved or simply to grab a coffee or snack for the journey. Playgrounds and climbing frames, old trams and tractors and a beautifully maintained working kitchen garden are all there.
Glenarty Road
  • 45m
The Glenarty road winery & restaurant is located along the way to the Leeuwin Lighthouse and provides an optional stop for a wine tasting or a light lunch.
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse
  • 40m
  • Admission ticket not included
A Heritage pass is required to enter the grounds and interactive centre of the Leeuwin Lighthouse. This enables us to see where the Indian & Southern Oceans meet. There is a small $4 - $6 Aud fee not included in this tour cost. The Leeuwin Lighthouse guided Tour is optional (not included in tour cost)
Margaret River
  • 30m
Margaret River township is a small modern country town in the heart of the internationally celebrated Margaret River wine growing region. The township has a number of local shopping outlets for souvenirs and lunch options.
Cowaramup
  • 25m
Difficult to pronounce Cowaramup is locally called "Cowtown" and for good reason. With a high street adorned with life size cow sculptures sitting outside local businesses and nearby street verges and parks - this small town offers some of the best chocolate (Temper Temper) & sweets (Sweets Cow) available in the region. Loads of photo fun as well.
Busselton Jetty
  • 30m
The famous Busselton Jetty is a must photo stop as it is a significant piece of history in the region. Your guide will give you many local stories about the Jettys history at this stop. This is a photo stop only as time restrictions do not allow for the 40 minute return train ride out to the end of the jetty or the additional 1 hour Underwater Observatory tour.
