Day 1 – Arrival in Urumqi
Your journey begins in Urumqi, the gateway to Xinjiang and one of the most culturally diverse cities in China. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with 24-hour airport pickup service and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Depending on arrival time, travellers may visit the International Grand Bazaar or Hongshan Park to experience the city’s vibrant local culture and panoramic views.
Day 2 – Urumqi to Korla
Travel south through the scenic Wuwei Motorway in a comfortable 7-seat minivan. Along the journey, pass through the famous Tianshan Shengli Tunnel, one of Xinjiang’s major engineering landmarks connecting northern and southern Xinjiang. Upon arrival in Korla, guests can enjoy optional evening exploration and local dining experiences.

Day 3 – Kuqa Grand Canyon Cultural Experience

Today’s journey focuses on the dramatic landscapes and Silk Road culture of Kuqa. Explore Kiziliya Grand Canyon through a self-drive canyon experience surrounded by towering red cliffs and winding desert roads. Guests will also enjoy a unique cliffside coffee stop before visiting Kuqa Reistan Cultural Street and the historic Kuqa Prince’s Mansion.
Day 4 – Flame Spring & Wensu Grand Canyon
Continue deeper into Southern Xinjiang while visiting natural wonders such as Flame Spring and the spectacular Wensu Grand Canyon. Known for its colourful rock formations and dramatic desert scenery, this region offers incredible photography opportunities and breathtaking landscapes.
Day 5 – Desert Highway to Hotan
Travel along the famous Desert Highway crossing part of the legendary Taklamakan Desert, one of the largest sandy deserts in the world. Arrive in Hotan and explore Yotkan Ancient City, Hotan Tuancheng Old Street, and the lively Hotan Night Market filled with local cuisine and Silk Road culture.
Day 6 – Kashgar Old City Experience
Arrive in the historic city of Kashgar, one of the cultural highlights of the journey. Explore Kashgar Old City, traditional bazaars, and the vibrant Kashgar Night Market while experiencing the unique atmosphere of this ancient Silk Road destination. Guests will also visit Shache Kazanqi Street to discover traditional architecture and local culture.
Day 7 – Pamir Plateau & Muztagh Glacier
Travel along the famous China–Pakistan Friendship Highway towards the breathtaking Pamir Plateau region. Visit White Sand Lake, known for its turquoise waters and white sand dunes, before continuing to Muztagh Ata Glacier Park.
Day 8 – Panlong Ancient Road & Blue Lakes
Experience one of the most scenic drives in Xinjiang along the famous Panlong Ancient Road, known for its dramatic winding curves and panoramic mountain views. Travellers will also visit Bandir Blue Lake and Karakul Lake before returning to Kashgar.
Day 9 – Departure from Kashgar
After an unforgettable journey through Southern Xinjiang, guests will receive 24-hour airport drop-off service according to their departure schedule.
