Discover Ushuaia from a different perspective, where adventure, nature, and wildlife come together in an active and authentic experience. This tour was designed for those who want to explore Tierra del Fuego's environment responsibly, connecting with the region's iconic animals and discovering unique landscapes.
The day begins with a transfer from Ushuaia to a natural setting of Tierra del Fuego's forests and valleys. There, we'll go on a guided quad bike ride, an experience shared by all passengers, which allows us to explore the landscape in a dynamic and safe way. During the tour, the guide introduces the Tierra del Fuego ecosystem, its geography, its climate, and the importance of conserving this unique environment.
After this first stage of exploration by quad bike, each traveller chooses the type of wildlife encounter they want to experience, based on their interests and availability.
One of the options is a guided trek with Siberian huskies, where you'll learn about the culture of dog sledding in Ushuaia and interact closely and respectfully with the animals, enjoying the Fuegian forest in a peaceful and moving way.
Another option is an interpretive walk to observe beavers in an active beaver lodge. Accompanied by a guide, you'll explore their natural habitat and learn about the impact of this species on Tierra del Fuego's ecosystem in an educational and mindful experience.
The third option invites you to travel along the Tierra del Fuego coastline to Puerto Almanza and go penguin watching on Martillo Island (Penguin Island) on a short boat trip. This experience combines marine wildlife, coastal scenery, and contact with an authentic fishing village, far from the traditional tourist trail.
At the end of the chosen activity, we head back to Ushuaia with the feeling of having enjoyed a flexible and intimate experience, where the quad bike is the means to explore the environment and the wildlife is the real star.
