We will depart from Ushuaia on National Route No. 3, which will accompany us throughout our journey through Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Our first stop will be the End of the World Station, where you will have the option to ride the former Prisoner Train, now converted into a tourist train that brings to life part of the history of Ushuaia's origins.
We will then venture into the park's unique landscapes and ecosystems. We will visit Ensenada Zaratiegui Bay, a place where mountains, forest, and sea come together in a single picture-postcard scene. This is also the location of the famous End of the World Post Office, which is currently closed to the public. We will be able to get close, take photos, learn about its history, and enjoy the site, but it is not possible to enter at this time.
We will continue to Lake Acigami (also known as Lake Roca), a glacial lake surrounded by forests and mountains. We will walk along its shore and, weather permitting, see the imaginary line dividing Argentina and Chile on the other side.
The final stop is Lapataia Bay, the end of National Route 3 and also of the iconic Pan-American Highway, which connects Alaska with the southern tip of South America. This is a symbolic place, steeped in history and natural beauty.
Throughout the tour, there will be short hikes to enjoy the surroundings and learn more about the flora, fauna, and geography of Tierra del Fuego.
The day before the tour, we will let you know the pick-up time (which varies depending on your accommodation location). Please provide us with your WhatsApp number or email address so that we can get in touch with you.
