After encountering a UFO, we discover the remains of a vanished church, the legend of which lives on. A few steps further on, Napoleon makes his appearance in the history of Utrecht, closely followed by the Spaniards and the cannonballs they left behind.
After the tumult of war, the calm of a hermitage guides us to the city’s landmark: the Domtoren. At its foot lies the original site where Utrecht reveals its most beautiful—and also its darkest—stories.
We then make a detour to the pretzel house, the Pope’s house, and a butcher shop like no other. We’ll let the devil play ball, close our eyes and shudder in front of the basilica, and end our tour at a library that holds more than one secret.
