Most wine tours in Valpolicella take you to the same famous names. This one doesn't.
Born and raised in Valpolicella, I've spent years getting to know the small, family-run wineries that rarely appear on tourist maps — the ones where the owner opens the cellar door themselves, pours the wine personally, and tells you stories you won't find in any guidebook.
Your experience begins with pickup from your accommodation. From there, we drive through the terraced vineyards and ancient villages of Valpolicella Classica, and I share what I know about this land — its history, its grape varieties, its rhythms.
At the winery, there are no rehearsed scripts. Just a genuine encounter with people who have dedicated their lives to making wine in one of Italy's most celebrated regions. You'll taste Amarone, Ripasso or Recioto depending on the season, and understand what makes each one unique.
The specific winery is chosen based on your group's interests and the season — because no two Incontri are the same.
