  • Meet your guide at Piazza del Risorgimento and walk together towards St. Peter’s Square and the entrance to the Basilica. Pass through the Vatican security checkpoint before entering the Basilica.

    Once inside, enjoy a guided tour of St. Peter’s Basilica led by an expert guide. Discover the extraordinary history, architecture, and masterpieces that make this monument one of the most visited religious sites in the world.

    During your visit, admire Michelangelo’s renowned Pietà, one of the most celebrated sculptures ever created. Continue through the Basilica to see Bernini’s magnificent Baldachin, the monumental bronze canopy that rises above the Papal Altar and the tomb of St. Peter. Your guide will also lead you to the Papal Tombs, where many Popes have been laid to rest over the centuries.

    The guided tour concludes inside the Basilica. If you have selected the Dome Climb option, you will be accompanied to the entrance of St. Peter’s Dome, where you may begin your ascent independently and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Vatican City and Rome.
