The concept: Be amazed by the wines of La Vendée! Discover 6 wines in a food tasting format. But that's not all: the wines are accompanied by small tapas/starters made in Vendée. It's also an opportunity to discover the richness of local dishes, paired with the wines… Sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines are on the agenda, but don't hesitate to indicate your preferences when booking.
The venue: Directly at your place if you live less than a 35-minute drive from St Gilles Croix de Vie and if you would like a food tasting at home. Otherwise, meet in the beautiful, private, and welcoming setting of a carefully decorated old building called “Le Clos du Petit St Thomas”, located 20 minutes from the ocean in La Garnache.
The programme: Hosted by Sarah, a wine professional from the region, this wine workshop allows you to learn how to taste wine and discover some regional specialities in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Beginners or amateurs are all welcome; the tasting is also adapted to the level of each participant. The workshop lasts a minimum of 2 hours, but sometimes longer, depending on everyone's questions! All materials are provided; simply come with high spirits and curiosity.
Practical information: You have the option of making the tasting private if there are at least 8 people in your group. You will have the opportunity to purchase the bottles at the end of the tasting.
