Only have a few hours in Vernazza? This tour shows you the village and its wine in 90 minutes, without the long hikes.
Meet your guide at our Eroico Vino cellar on Via Visconti, Vernazza’s high street. Together you’ll walk through narrow alleys, small squares and quiet corners most visitors walk straight past, climbing a few steps to some of the best views of the harbour. Along the way, you’ll hear how this fishing village grew up between the sea and the cliffs, and how generations of families carved terraced vineyards into the hillsides with nothing but their hands and dry-stone walls.
Back at the cellar, a recently restored historic space in the heart of the village, you’ll sit down for a guided tasting of 3 wines that our family makes from grapes grown on the terraces above Vernazza. Your host, a member of the Eroico Vino family, will tell you the storey behind each wine, the local grape varieties (Bosco, Vermentino and Albarola) and our work to bring abandoned vineyards back to life. Wines are served with local focaccia.
Groups are small (max 10 people), so there’s plenty of time for questions and travel tips.
