“We're Lien and Enrico, both working for a medical humanitarian organisation, and when not on missions abroad, we love hosting dinners at home for friends and family. It's from this simple joy that our cooking experience was born. We wanted to create something personal: a way to welcome and meet people from all over the world, share our love for good food, wine, and hospitality, and give a real taste of Italian life. Begin your experience by meeting your hosts, Lien and Enrico, in their lovely home. Enjoy a glass of Spritz Aperol as you get to know the group and learn about the evening ahead.
Next, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking session. Make two types of hand-rolled and cut pasta with different sauces (truffle and pesto), and one traditional dessert. Learn traditional recipes coming from Enrico’s grandmother, passed down through the generations. No fancy tools used, so you can easily recreate the dishes at home. Use high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, all coming from Verona – because great food starts with great ingredients. Stay cool whilst cooking in the fully air-conditioned penthouse.
During the cooking class, you will have a real Italian aperitif with a local glass of sparkling wine and some of the best regional delicacies.
Once the cooking is done, sit down to enjoy a delicious three-course meal with what you've cooked, all served Italian style on the beautiful terrace. Each dish is paired with an amazing local wine (white and red), carefully chosen by your host Enrico, a certified sommelier.
After the meal, receive the recipes by email so you can bring a true taste of Italy to your own kitchen.
