Explore the historic heart of Vienna on this guided city tour with our accredited tour guides. From the Albertina to Stephansplatz, the tour takes you past the most famous landmarks and the most beautiful squares in Vienna's old town.
The focus is on the imposing Hofburg – once the residence of the Habsburgs and still one of Austria's most important landmarks. During the walk, you will learn fascinating stories about imperial Vienna, its magnificent architecture, and the city's cultural heritage. Be inspired by the special flair of Vienna's city centre and discover places that make Vienna one of the most fascinating cities in Europe.
Day 2 – Vienna Central Cemetery (duration: 2 hours) (every Saturday at 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM, can be arranged flexibly)
The Vienna Central Cemetery – history, art, and silent stories
The Vienna Central Cemetery is one of the most impressive cemeteries in Europe and is much more than just a burial ground. Among magnificent honorary graves, monumental architecture, and quiet avenues, you will encounter the stories of great personalities such as Beethoven, Schubert, Johann Strauss, and Falco.
During the two-hour guided tour, you will discover the fascinating combination of Viennese history, culture, and remembrance. A special highlight is the magnificent cemetery church of Saint Charles Borromeo in Viennese Art Nouveau, which, with its imposing dome, is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. At the same time, memorials and historic graves tell of moving events of the past and make the Zentralfriedhof a unique place full of atmosphere and history.
