Today is dedicated to exploring the villages and scenic countryside of provincial Vietnam. The journey from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh is fairly easy and leisurely paced. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take some photos of the surrounding valleys, sugarcane farms, and rice paddies that compose the landscape. The final stop for the day is the small town of Ninh Binh. The Ninh Binh province is known for its spectacular limestone karst scenery, lush rice paddies and gently flowing waterways. Then you take a nice sampan ride in Van Long which will take you through the picturesque landscapes of the tormented mountains, planted in the middle of the rice fields. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 6: Explore The Magnificent Halong Bay (B/L/D)

In the morning, check out of the hotel, and get transferred to Halong Bay by private car. The cruise will stop in a secret place where you will spend time kayaking or swimming, so you can explore the karst grottoes closer. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just relax.
