After breakfast, our guide will accompany you to Ba Vi, a Hanoi countryside. At Ri village, meet Mr. Duoc, a Vietnam War veteran and tea-farm owner. Hear his war stories while enjoying a drink, then tour his tea plantation and learn tea-picking. Next, head to Moc village to cook local dishes with Mrs. Chin, followed by lunch in a tropical garden. Afterwards, explore the village, visit local families, and enjoy a cycling trip through paddy fields. Today is dedicated to exploring the villages and scenic countryside of provincial Vietnam. The journey from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh is fairly easy and leisurely paced. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take some photos of the surrounding valleys, sugarcane farms, and rice paddies that compose the landscape. The final stop for the day is the small town of Ninh Binh. The Ninh Binh province is known for its spectacular limestone karst scenery, lush rice paddies and gently flowing waterways. Then you take a nice sampan ride in Van Long which will take you through the picturesque landscapes of the tormented mountains, planted in the middle of the rice fields. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

In the morning, check out of the hotel, and get transferred to Halong Bay by private car. On arrival at the pier, you will board the cruise and enjoy the fantastic views of limestone rocks and the karst grottoes. Have an utterly delicious seafood lunch and enjoy the time at the sundeck exploring the Bay. The cruise will stop in a secret place where you will spend time kayaking or swimming, so you can explore the karst grottoes closer. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can optionally attend the activities taking part on the boat or just relax. Rise early today to view the sunrise at the wonder of nature with breakfast served in the dining room. A Tai Chi class on the sun deck will awake your mind and muscles. Then head off to visit the limestone cave full of stalagmites and stalactites. After your exploration return to the boat to check out and enjoy the brunch while the cruise is sailing back to the harbour.

Later you will be transferred to Hanoi, from where you will take a flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Hue City, the heart of Thua Thien Hue province, was once the imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty, boasting UNESCO-listed architectural treasures. Your guide will meet you at 8:00-8:30 am for a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, followed by a visit to the Imperial Citadel and the Royal Antiques Museum. Explore Dong Ba market before lunch. In the afternoon, visit Khai Dinh’s Tomb, blending Vietnamese and European styles, and Minh Mang’s Tomb, showcasing Confucian design. Discover conical hat and incense stick villages en route. Return to your hotel by 16:00-17:00 for overnight stay.

Upon your arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City’s centre. In the afternoon, take a trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, which was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum, the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on a journey to the Mekong Delta. Your guide will meet you at 7:15-7:30 am in the hotel lobby. Arrive at My Tho on the left bank of the Mekong River and board a sampan to cruise around Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. Explore Unicorn Island's country lanes and orchards, visit fruit plantations, and enjoy local folk music. Glide through Thoi Son canal on a hand-rowed sampan, visiting family workshops, a honey-bee farm, and sampling honey tea and coconut sweets. Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch before cycling around Tan Thach village to experience local life or relax in a hammock. Finally, reach your accommodation in Can Tho for the night.

Have breakfast in the early morning. Then take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole of the region. Then have a walk to visit the fruit plantation and local noodle factory. Visit Binh Thuy communal house and Munir Ansay Pagoda – a Khmer pagoda, renowned for its unique structure.
